Almighty and ever-living God,

let your healing powers make whole those who suffer, in body, mind or spirit.

Comfort and strengthen them.

Lift their hearts and bring them the joy of your salvation.

Merciful Lord God, stretch out your hand and grant …..…….. and all nearby who are ill, the grace of healing. Fit them for health in the name of your only Son. May his holy name be their remedy. May it make them sound and whole. Through Jesus, glory and power are yours in the Holy Spirit, and yours they will continue for ever and ever.

Grant, O Lord, to all those who are bearing pain

thy spirit of healing,

thy spirit of peace and hope,

of courage and endurance.

Cast out from them the spirit of anxiety and fear;

grant them perfect confidence and trust in thee,

that in thy light they may see light; through Jesus Christ our lord.
