Small Church, Big Heart...

Our parish youth work

The Friday's Youth Club is open to everyone in School Year 6 and above. It runs on (you've guessed it) each friday evening in termtime from 7pm until 9pm in S. Thomas the Apostle Church Hall on Elson Road.

It provides a safe, supportive and fun environment to spend time with your friends, play games, mess around on the internet and the playstation and just simply hang out.

Why not come along and see why this is Elson's most successful youth work, and find out exactly why Fr. Simon thinks you're great!

Sunday's is the next step: a youth club for slightly older young people. There is no real age limit, but you'll know when you're ready.

Taking place once a fortnight in Fr. Simon and Lou's Vicarage, this is a place to hang out, play on the Wii or take up the Twister challenge, eat our free food (hot chocolate with marshmallows, anyone?) and share in discussions, bible studies, prayer and the occasional mass on the coffee table!

Seek answers to challenging questions, support, prayer and lots of silly laughter at this small and friendly gathering. Bring your ukulele!

contact Fr. Simon or seek out the Sunday's Facebook group for more information.
